Joe is a Principal of Gofen and Glossberg and has been with the firm
since 1965. He received a B.S. degree in Economics and a Master’s of
Business Administration degree in Finance from the Wharton School
of the University of Pennsylvania and holds the Chartered Financial
Analyst and Chartered Investment Counselor designations. He has
served as a Trustee and member of the Endowment Board of the
University of Pennsylvania and a member of the Investment Adviser
Association’s Board of Governors. He serves on the Board of Trustees
of Knox College and chairs the college’s investment committee and is
a Trustee of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association and serves
on its investment committee. He is a Trustee of the Merit School of
Music, where he chairs its investment committee, and is President of
the Jazz Institute of Chicago.
